On Friday (today), Carmelo Caruana Company Ltd announced the appointment of Michael Conti as its Managing Director.

“Mr Conti brings significant experience and a solid leadership background to our team,” the company said on LinkedIn.

It added that his vision and dedication will guide the company forward, "fostering growth and innovation."

Throughout his career, Mr Conti served as Shipping General Manager at Bianchi Group of Companies, Operations Manager at Valletta Cruise Port and Head of Logistics and Operations at Petro International, among others.

He describes himself as being skilful in logistics management, operations management and international trade among others.

Carmelo Caruana Company Ltd was established as a family business in the 1920s.

It focuses on delivering ship and liner agency services, ship-to-ship operations, and free trade zone warehousing.
