Ben Francis, Founder and Owner of Gymshark has taken to social media to mark three years since opening the doors of Gymshark’s 42,000 square foot headquarters on Blythe Valley Business Park.

Founding the fitness apparel and accessories brand when he was just 19 years old, the British entrepreneur boasts a remarkable success story.

As one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK, Gymshark became the first DTC brand in the UK to achieve Unicorn status with no external capital funding in August 2020 – quite a feat for a brand that finds its roots in a teenage boy’s bedroom, which he funded by working as a pizza delivery man while studying at Aston University.

Over the three years since opening its doors, the HQ has gone from housing 150 employees to 450, the Gymshark Founder notes, remarking ‘what an incredible three years it has been.”

“I truly believe that culture is everything, this building has allowed us to do so much, to collaborate, to build relationships, and to really transform this brand. I cannot wait until we can start using the space properly again.”
