Debono Group appoints new Head of Project Management and Data Strategy

Haz-Zebbug-based automotive company Debono Group has promoted Brian Scicluna to Head of Project Management and Data Strategy.

Mr Scicluna joined the company back in January 2021 as a Big Data Strategist – a position he held for just over a year before his latest promotion.

Before joining Debono Group, Mr Scicluna served a short tenure as Business Intelligence Manager at Melita Ltd. He also spent three years working as a Senior BI Developer and Big Data BI Technology Team Lead at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG).

Mr Scicluna kickstarted his career with a seven-year tenure as a Software Engineer at Gasan Mamo Insurance, which was followed by a three-year tenure as BI/CRM Specialist at iMovo.

Since its foundation in 1952, Debono Group has ventured into various areas, including the selling and servicing of new and used commercial vehicles and motorcycles.

The company has also invested in an engineering company focused on delivering storage and racking solutions and in a tech company that delivers customer experience solutions.
