Eden Leisure Group

Managers and Directors from Eden Leisure Group, InterContinental Hotel Malta, and Holiday Inn Express spent a day volunteering at Id-Dar tal-Providenza.

“[The team] spent the morning lending a helping hand to the hardworking team over at Id-Dar tal-Providenza with their everyday tasks that help keep the premises up and running,” the group wrote on social media.

Founded in 1965, Id-Dar tal-Providenza offers individualised residential services to persons with disabilities in a family-like environment, thus enhancing and maximising their abilities and ensuring their full participation in society.

Presently, Id-Dar tal-Providenza is made up of three residences, Villa Monsinjur Gonzi, Villa Papa Giovanni, and Villa Papa Luciani, and four community homes, Zerniq, in Siggiewi, Akkwarell, in Qawra, Dar Pirotta, in Birkirkara, and Shalom, in Zurrieq.

This is far from Eden Leisure Group’s first foray into CSR, with the group frequently raising funds for charitable causes and volunteering with non-governmental organisations.
