Gerasimos Papaleventis has just been appointed First Vice President of Treasury at FIMBank plc.

In a LinkedIn post, Mr Papaleventis reflected on his journey that led him to this position: “Six and a half years ago, I made the decision to move to Malta with my family and join FIMBank plc. This journey was not easy; it was challenging enough, having to deal with complex tasks during the pandemic years along with the aftermath of this market/economy disruption.” However, he stated that he is “blessed to work with a fantastic team where respect, support, and dedication are our mutual values! It is more than a team… it is family!”

With over 25 years of experience, Mr Papaleventis has held many positions in his career so far. According to his LinkedIn profile, he was Head of International Settlements and Operations at NBG Securities for nine years, a Consultant and Project Manager at Profile Software, and also worked as a Seminar Speaker and Advisor on a freelance basis for almost ten years.

In June 2018, he took on the role of Vice President of Treasury at FIMBank plc, where he has now been promoted to his new role.
