In 2024, he was promoted to the position of Deputy CEO after heading the Group’s Purchasing Department for 11 years.

Mr Borg’s appointment comes shortly after the opening of the St George’s Mall on the former ITS site in St George’s Bay.

A subsidiary of the PG Group recently signed a deal with the db Group for the long-term lease of the mall and adjacent car park.

They have been leased to DB Gauci Shopping Mall Ltd, a company in which PG holds a 60 per cent majority stake, with db owning the remaining 40 per cent.
