Bonnici Bros Properties plc has announced the appointment of Joanne Azzopardi Bonnici as Executive Director, effective 23rd April 2025. The announcement follows the resignation of Alexis Bonnici from the Board of Directors, also effective as of today.

Ms Azzopardi Bonnici brings over 14 years of experience within the company, having served in several key roles including Engineering Consultant, Head of Engineering, and Head of Administration.

A graduate of the University of Malta, Ms Azzopardi Bonnici holds a B.Eng (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering, awarded in 2007.

In addition to her long-standing tenure with Bonnici Bros, she also served as a Director at JYSK Malta for over three years.

Her appointment comes at a pivotal time for the Group, as Bonnici Bros. Properties plc has just published its financial results for the year ended 31st December 2024, showing a profit after tax of €885,700, a significant jump from the previous year’s figure of €1,364.

The company’s profit before taxation also saw a remarkable increase, reaching €1,440,807, up from €590,233 in 2023.
