Marika Caruana Smith, Cluster Director of Sales – Luxury and Entertainment at InterContinental Malta, on Wednesday (today) remarked that she is honoured to have had the opportunity to welcome star musician Ed Sheeran to the hotel.

Last month, the popular singer delivered a memorable live concert at Ta’ Qali as part of his Mathematics Tour. With over 35,000 fans making their way to the event, it was Malta’s largest-ever paid concert.

“Hey Marika! Hope you are well. Thanks again for a great stay at your wonderful hotel last week. Everyone that stayed there had a great time,” the message read.

Ms Caruana Smith noted that the team at the hotel is “incredibly honoured and thrilled” to have welcomed the English singer at the hotel.

“Ed Sheeran joins a distinguished list of celebrities and stars who have chosen the InterContinental Malta as their home away from home,” she said.

She added that the team is immensely proud to have welcomed these talented and renowned guests.

“Here’s to creating more memorable experiences and welcoming more incredible guests in the future,” Ms Caruana Smith continued.
