Gozo fast ferry

Fabio Muscat, Director of Merill Invest Ltd, has announced the arrival of the company’s latest investment: two new vessels that will begin operating a fast-ferry service to Gozo from 1st June.

“Welcome home,” Mr Muscat wrote, along with a photo of the vessels being transported into harbour.

Last month, Mr Muscat announced that the company invested in a fast-ferry service between Valletta and Gozo, using two, high-speed passenger craft.

“We have invested in two modern, environmentally friendly, high-speed passenger catamarans, that are equipped with the latest technology to operate in full compliance with the requirements of the Port Notice issued by Transport Malta,” said Mr Muscat.

Each vessel of the Gozo Fast Ferry can carry 300 passengers, and the voyage between Mgarr, Gozo and the Grand Harbour in Valletta is expected to take less than 45 minutes.
