ARQ Group announced the appointment of Denia Ellul as Director of three of its companies – ARQ Advisory, ARQ Corporate, and ARQ Fiduciaries.

The announcement was made following the receipt of regulatory approval in relation to those entities providing services subject to MFSA supervision.

Dr Ellul also holds the position of Partner at Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal.

“This is yet another milestone for our organisation. It’s so much more than just an appointment,” ARQ Group Managing Partner Manfred Galdes said.

“We are convinced that Denia’s versatility and her unique skills will continue to drive the Group’s growth. With this appointment, not only are we opening our doors to the next generation of professionals, but we are also positioning ourselves ahead of the pack when it comes to governance and compliance,” Mr Galdes continued.

Dr Ellul began her journey with ARQ Group as Senior Manager just over four years ago. Before her latest promotion, she occupied the role of Head of Financial Services.

The newly appointed Director holds a Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Malta and a Masters degree in International Trade and Investment Laws from the University of Amsterdam.

As the first woman appointed to the Board of ARQ Group, Dr Ellul is determined to contribute to a richer discussion that challenges traditional ideologies surrounding women in the workplace
