‘A setting we couldn’t be prouder of’: db CEO on Hard Rock Hotel’s new rooftop restaurant

db Group CEO Robert Debono welcomed the launch of Cyana, a new Greek rooftop restaurant at Hard Rock Hotel Malta. 

“We wanted the rooftop to be a place where people would come for the view and return for the experience,” Mr Debono said at the restaurant's official launch. 

“Cyana brings together food, hospitality and entertainment in a setting we couldn’t be prouder to share. It was an absolute pleasure to welcome so many guests for their first taste.”

Cyana’s head chef is Spiros Tzilis, a Greek chef who has worked at Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, and award-winning kitchens in Greece and major international culinary events across Europe and the Middle East.

It promises fresh seafood, fragrant herbs, quality olive oil and charcoal cooking, along with Greek wines and curated cocktails. 

Cyana has both indoor and outdoor seating and free parking is available for diners.

Hard Rock Hotel Malta General Manager Shawn Muscat said the restaurant seeks to embrace the concept of Greek hospitality. 

“Greek hospitality is about making people feel welcome and bringing them together around a table,” he said.

“That’s the spirit we want at Cyana, whether guests join us for dinner with friends, a special occasion or a cocktail at sunset.”
