Helga Ellul, CEO and Founder of Advise Ltd, has been appointed Non-Executive Director at United Finance plc.
United Finance is the financing arm of United Group Limited which, in turn, is active in the automotive, fashion retail, food and beverage, and real estate sectors in Malta.
Established in 1926 by Carmelo Gatt Baldacchino, the United Group is nowadays behind brands such as Motors Inc, Hertz Malta, MAC, and Pendergardens.
Ms Ellul moved to Malta from Germany back in 1974 and has, since then, established herself as one of Malta’s leading business leaders.
She spent several years serving as CEO at Playmobil Malta, before leaving the company in 2012 to set up her own management consultancy firm, Advise.
Ms Ellul is also a past President of The Malta Chamber and has received numerous awards for her contributions to the local business landscape throughout the years.
These include the ‘Midalja ghall-Qadi tar-Repubblika’ in 1994 and the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit in 2011.
