On the second anniversary of Robert Arrigo’s passing, his son Alan Arrigo took to LinkedIn to honour his father’s legacy with a heartfelt tribute.
“On this day, your legacy continues to inspire us—in business, in the community, and most importantly, within our family,” Mr Arrigo wrote.
He expressed how proud his father would be of their current achievements, imagining him saying “Bravi!” in his usual encouraging manner.
Reflecting on his father’s love, wisdom, and kindness, Mr Arrigo shared how these qualities continue to guide their family and business. “We carry your memory in everything we do,” he added, thanking his father, affectionately referred to as “Pres,” for all he had given them.
Robert Arrigo, a prominent figure in Maltese politics and business, was known for his contributions to the local tourism industry and his leadership roles in various sports clubs.
He was also a long-standing member of the Nationalist Party, serving as Deputy Leader for Party Affairs between 2017 and 2022.
His influence extended to Sliema Wanderers Football Club, where he served as president, and Neptunes Waterpolo Club, where he was vice-president.
Robert Arrigo left behind a lasting legacy, with his sons Andrew and Alan Arrigo now serving as co-CEOs of Robert Arrigo & Sons, the family business he founded.
