Alberta Group on Thursday (today) announced the appointment of Albert Frendo as Chairman of the Board of Directors, replacing Winston Zahra Snr.

Mr Frendo brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, with him amassing an impressive background in the banking sector. Alberta Group stated that he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a “deep understanding” of the company’s vision and values.

Over the course of his career, Mr Frendo successfully navigated complex financial landscapes, driving growth, and spearheading transformative initiatives.

“His strategic acumen and commitment to excellence make him the ideal leader to guide Alberta Group’s Directors in their efforts at navigating the challenges which lie before them and achieving new heights for the group and its people,” Alberta Group added.

The company also proceeded to express its deepest gratitude to Mr Zahra for his “remarkable contributions and dedicated service” as its former Chairman.

“His exceptional leadership and relentless commitment to the growth and prosperity of our organisation have left an indelible mark,” the company commented.

Under Mr Zahra’s guidance, Alberta Group managed to go from a family business to a prominent player in the industry. His strategic vision and ability to navigate challenges proved to be “instrumental” in helping the company become a leader.

“His unwavering support and steadfast guidance have been instrumental in shaping the success of Alberta Group, and we are immensely grateful for his remarkable leadership,” the company continued.

Additionally, the company also expressed gratitude to the rest of Alberta Group’s team for their “unwavering commitment and hard work,” noting that this was pivotal to its success, achieving significant milestones in the process.

Alberta Group affirmed that under Mr Frendo’s guidance, it is confident that it will “continue to thrive and evolve, embracing new opportunities and achieving even greater heights.”
