Aleander Balzan has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for Tomorrow's Schools.

Established in May 2001 by the Government, the Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools is tasked with designing, constructing, and maintaining modern educational facilities.

Throughout his career, he has served as a Policy Advisor within the Office of the Prime Minister, headed the Secretariat of the Ministry for Home Affairs and Security, and held various roles in strategy, communications and project management, including as Director of Communications for the Labour Party.

He holds a Master of Science in Strategic Management and Public Policy from the University of Malta, as well as qualifications in European Studies and Communication.

The Education  Ministry also expresses its gratitude to Neville Young for his work and dedication throughout the years he led the Foundation.
