Alex Rose has been confirmed as Multitude Bank’s new Chief Operations Officer after his appointment received regulatory approval from the Malta Financial Services Authority.
His appointment was first announced last April in a slew of changes to the bank’s senior management team, which included Sara Codreanu as Chief Investment Officer and Jakub Savara as Chief Banking Officer.
Mr Rose previously served as Global Service Operations and Customer Experience Lead of Ferratum, Multitude Banks consumer lending business unit.
Prior to joining the bank, he held senior roles at Melita Ltd as Senior Manager for Customer Experience and Operations, and at HSBC in various positions within change management and customer support.
Multitude Bank plc is a subsidiary of Multitude AG, the international and Finland-founded financial group formerly known as Ferratum.
The group rebranded under the Multitude name in 2022 as part of a wider restructuring, although it kept the Ferratum brand specifically for consumer lending.
It reported a €22.8 million profit for 2025, with core activity remaining the origination of consumer lending products distributed through an online platform, alongside corporate lending through a relationship-driven and multi-channel model.
