Andre Zerafa

Ganado Advocates has announced the appointment of Andre Zerafa as the firm’s Managing Partner, succeeding Louis Cassar Pullicino’s six-year tenure. An official handover was given during a virtual event held on 29th March, which was attended by the firm’s lawyers, professionals and staff members.

“I look forward to continue adding to the firm’s long history of accomplishments, serving and supporting our highly talented lawyers and professionals as we continue meeting the many legal needs of our clients and communities,” Dr Zerafa said of the appointment, expressing his sense of responsibility in assuming leadership of the firm and thanking his predecessor.

Dr Zerafa, who is highly acclaimed for his experience and expertise in the field of investment services and funds, has consistently been named as a leading lawyer in his area of practice by legal peers and clients. “For over 20 years, Andre’s forward-looking approach has contributed to the firm’s positioning as first mover and leader in burgeoning sectors and legal practices in Malta and abroad,” Ganado Advocates said in a statement.

Over the last years, the firm has counted professional development as a major focus, ensuring continuity in addressing complex legal issues characterising today’s business and legal markets. As part of a wider strategy of providing its clients with cross border solutions within the European Union, the firm also opened an office in Luxembourg.

Following his retirement as Managing Partner, Dr Cassar Pullicino will continue to focus exclusively on litigation and international arbitration.

Dr Zerafa will be supported in his new role by the firm’s Board of Management, comprising of Adrian Gabarretta, Matthew Bianchi, Daniel Aquilina, Conrad Portanier and Matthew Brincat.
