Palazzo Guarena, one of Malta’s most distinguished heritage venues, has announced the appointment of Angie Amato as its new Managing Director.

Nestled in the heart of Qrendi, Palazzo Guarena is an 18th-century fortified palace that has been restored and repurposed as a wedding and events venue.

Ms Amato brings with her a diverse professional background spanning media, childcare, communications, and entrepreneurship.

According to her LinkedIn profile, she began her career in 2010 as a set production assistant with Latina Pictures, before moving into administration at Giggles Nursery, where she worked for five years.

Following this, she spent nearly three years self-employed before joining Finesse Group as a PA and PR Executive, a role she held for over four years. She later co-founded Jays of Sunshine, an initiative which reflected her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to community-oriented projects.
