Ann Fenech, Head of the Marine Litigation Department at Fenech & Fenech Advocates, has been re-elected President of the Malta Maritime Law Association (MMLA).
Dr Fenech was first elected President of the MMLA in 2008.
The MMLA is a non-profit making, voluntary organization set up in 1994 with the aim of promoting the study and advancement of maritime law and its administration.
With its expertise the MMLA plays a key role in ensuring that the Maltese maritime legislative and regulatory infrastructure is constantly updated, revised, amended and improved in a pro-active and well researched manner.
Last October, Dr Fenech was also re-elected as Vice President of not-for-profit international organisation Comité Maritime International (CMI).
Dr Fenech has been working at Fenech & Fenech Advocates for the past 30 years. She joined the firm in 1992 and was Managing Partner between 2008 and 2020.
