Hudson Group will be taking over the commercial centre’s entire first floor, populating it with the following brands: Intersport, Urban Bratz, River Island, New Look, Mango, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Timberland, and Alcott.

The Intersport and Urban Bratz sections will offer brands of the likes of Nike, Vans, Champion, and Crocs, amongst many others.

“We are very pleased to welcome Hudson to Arkadia Commercial Centre. They bring a great selection of brands to cater for all ages and genders as well as a professional, customer-centric approach to business which fits in with our business philosophy,” Mr Shone said.

“Their presence will certainly help Arkadia return as the number one shopping destination in Gozo when we reopen,” he continued.

Hudson is one of Malta’s leading fashion and sports retailers, bringing brands such as Nike, Ted Baker, River Island, and Mango to the islands. The group is also a significant operator in Africa, where it’s a distributor and retailer of several leading brands.

One of Hudson’s greatest achievements to date is the representation of NIKE, amongst other brands, for over 30 countries in Africa. Hudson manages this business through offices in Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria.

“In recent years, Hudson has strengthened its position as the leading retailer in Malta. We are now delighted to offer the most loved brands to the Gozitan Market,” Hudson Malta Country GM Ritianne Grech said.

“Renovation works are underway, and our teams our working relentlessly to launch this coming autumn,” she continued.

In total, Hudson currently manages over 30 stores in Malta, and another 30 stores spread across Africa and Southern Europe including Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, Cyprus and Italy.

By the end of 2022, the group would have opened an additional 17 new stores in all its territories. This will include two new concepts – the above mentioned multi-store in Gozo as well as at Campus Hub, where Hudson will introduce an innovative digital concept.
