MadeYou Ltd CEO Luke Todd has acknowledged that he is determined to continue on the present trajectory of embracing opportunities and challenges that come with rapid growth, wanting to “offer more” in 2024.
He was speaking in the latest instalment of MaltaCEOs.mt’s end-of-year series, during which he explained that 2023 proved to be “challenging” in terms of fitting all of the work in just a year.
Mr Todd co-founded MadeYou, a leadership training and development company, in 2016. It seeks to help organisations empower their people in order to succeed in their personal development journey and strengthen the business. He has served as CEO since 2018, and over the years MadeYou has achieved substantial growth.
Busy, quick, fun.
We had a lot of work in 2023 from all over Europe and squeezing it all in was challenging. I keep asking what happened to August and September, as it feels like we jumped from July to October far too quickly. We had a lot of fun. We have been working with loads of leadership teams across Europe and running lots of team-building sessions, so even though we are busy, there have been some enjoyable moments, too.
It sounds silly, but to be honest, as a CEO, it has been embracing our rapid growth and finally admitting that I want to ride that rollercoaster, embrace the growth, step back on the accelerator pedal and offer more in 2024.
My team, without a doubt. I am fortunate to have a small team, who work very hard and enjoy the elements they are responsible for. We laugh a lot, but we get the job done, not just done but amazingly well.
Being more conscious of New Year resolutions (or focus areas) whilst holding a glass of prosecco.
Optimise the services we offer, offer new services that enable people’s growth, which in turn facilitates business growth and make all of this much more accessible.
Work-life balance.
More exercise and self-reflection.
With a larger team and still enjoying what I (and we) do.
