Claudine Cassar has been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director at Premier Capital – the Developmental Licencee for McDonald’s in Malta – with effect from today, 6th August 2021.
Premier Capital also acts as Developmental Licencee for the aforementioned chain restaurant in Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, and Romania.

A seasoned technology entrepreneur, Ms Cassar holds more than 23 years of experience in the strategy and management fields.
Her involvement in the local tech industry was kickstarted by her foundation of Alert Communications, a former leading player in the Maltese technology sector which was subsequently acquired by Deloitte.
Ms Cassar’s former roles also include Managing Director at Alert Solutions, Partners and Consulting Function Lead at Deloitte, Director of the Malta Council for Science and Technology and Director of Jobsplus.
She also acted as Chair of the Institute of Education and founded the Blossom Foundation – a voluntary organization with undertakes projects to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The company said the role is newly established.
