Claudine Cassar has been appointed to Premier Capital plc’s Audit Committee, with effect from 8th April.
In this position, Ms Cassar is succeeding Valentin Truta, who tendered his resignation from the Audit Committee with effect from 8th April. Mr Truta remains a Director of the Company.

Ms Cassar serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Premier Capital, having been appointed to the role on 6th August 2021.
Founded in 2005, Premier Capital is the Developmental Licencee for chain fast-food restaurant McDonald’s in Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, and Romania.
The company’s newly appointed Audit Committee Member holds more than 23 years of experience in the strategy and management fields, her involvement in the local tech industry getting kickstarted by her foundation of Alert Communications.
Ms Cassar’s former roles include Managing Director at Alert Solutions, Partners and Consulting Function Lead at Deloitte, Director of the Malta Council for Science and Technology, and Director of Jobsplus.
She also acted as Chair of the Institute of Education and founded the Blossom Foundation – a voluntary organisation which undertakes projects to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
