Pharmacare Premium Limited has announced that Claudio Coppini will be stepping down from his role as Chief Financial Officer, with his resignation taking effect on 31st March 2025.

The Company confirmed that there is no matter concerning Mr Coppini’s resignation that requires disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules.

In a brief statement, the Company expressed gratitude for Mr Coppini’s contribution over the years.

Until a permanent replacement is appointed, the CFO’s duties will be temporarily assumed by the Company’s finance manager and wider finance team, who will report directly to Executive Director Hani Sarraf.

Throughout his career, he has gained more than 20 years of experience in financial management. Prior to this role, he served as Group CFO at SASMAR, a Belgium-headquartered pharmaceutical manufacturing company. He has also held senior positions at Ltech, Sherpa Insurance, Fraport AG, BNF Bank plc, VistaJet International, Puma, and Siegfried Generics Malta, among others.

Established in Malta in 2010, Pharmacare Premium Limited is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company that has the aim to become “one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the Mediterranean and MENA regions”. It boasts a state-of-the-art facility, infrastructure and high-end equipment that are tailored for “high potency contained production” to supply a range of therapeutic products for global markets. Pharmacare Finance plc was set up in 2018 to act as a financing company for Pharmacare Premium Limited and its subsidiary undertakings.
