A Dutch native speaker with a Master’s degree in International Political Economy, Liesbeth Oost is a certified investor relations professional. Having previously worked at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she now focuses on responsible gaming and sustainability strategy at Aspire Global.

“I have had several key moments in my career, in particular working to limit Aspire Global’s potential negative impacts and maximising its positive contribution to society (including going completely carbon neutral),” Ms Oost says in the latest edition of iGaming Capital.

“I was also delighted to be awarded the 5Star Media Rising Star Award in 2021,” she continues.

In a bid to raise awareness about sustainability in the iGaming industry, Ms Oost runs workshops and participates in panels. Aspire Global will also be participating in research to address this issue.

“Making a quantifiable impact to protect our society and the planet is the right thing to do. If a company has sustainability in its DNA, it will be better equipped to comply with new regulations with the goal of reducing social harm,” Ms Oost notes.

“Over the last decade, we have seen a significant shift in this direction, but there is still work ahead to create positive, lasting change,” she concludes.

This forms part of a wider feature carried in the latest edition of iGaming Capital.
