A business partner of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo praised the potential of St George’s Bay after expanding his TATEL Spanish restaurant concept into the area.
TATEL, which is co-owned by Cristiano Ronaldo and Mabel Capital President Manuel Campos Guallar, recently announced it is opening a branch in Malta, marking its latest expansion after launches in Madrid, Ibiza, Valencia, Riyadh, and Dubai.
It was brought to Malta by Lifestyle Group, which sits under the db Group, as part of its St George’s Bay project.
“TATEL has always aimed to celebrate the energy, passion, and warmth of Spanish hospitality, and Malta felt like the perfect next step for the brand,” Mr Guallar said.
“St. George’s Bay is becoming one of the Mediterranean’s most exciting lifestyle destinations, and we are proud to bring the TATEL experience there alongside a leading company such as Lifestyle Group and the DeBono family at their Hard Rock Hotel.”
“From the gastronomy and music to the atmosphere and service, we want every guest to feel something special from the moment they walk through our doors.”
Lifestyle Group Director and CEO Robert DeBono said the arrival of TATEL to Malta adds another exciting dimension to the island’s evolving dining and entertainment scene.
“Known for its distinctive blend of Spanish-Mediterranean gastronomy, live music and vibrant atmosphere, TATEL has built a reputation for creating experiences that feel both sophisticated and energetic,” Mr DeBono said.
“We’re proud to bring that spirit to St George’s Bay as part of the continued evolution of Malta’s premium hospitality offering.”
