David Spiteri bids farewell to ECMeetings Malta and Portugal after five years

After five years as General Manager at ECMeetings Malta, and Director at ECMeetings Portugal, David Spiteri announced that he is parting ways with the company.

An experienced General Manager with a solid career in hotel management and the events services industry spanning over 20 years, Mr Spiteri will now be taking a short break to “spend time with friends and family while waiting for the next opportunity to come along.”

He first joined EC Meetings Company Ltd in 2011 as Director Of Operations but moved on to the role of Group General Manager at The Xara Palace Relais and Châteaux less than three years later. After spending four years at the hotel, he re-joined ECMeetings in 2017, this time as General Manager for ECMeetings Malta and Director for ECMeetings Portugal.

With offices based in Malta and Portugal, ECMeetings specialises in offering personalised destination experiences and innovative, sustainable event solutions.
