Deloitte Malta appoints John Debattista as Director within audit and assurance area

Deloitte Malta has appointed John Debattista as Director, practicing in the area of audit and assurance.

Mr Debattista is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the field of Financial Reporting and Auditing.

He was a co-founder of a professional practice in Malta where he was responsible for the Assurance and Business Advisory teams for over 10 years. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from University of Malta and is proficient in International Standards on Auditing and IFRS.

The firm remarked that the addition of Mr Debattista to the Audit and Assurance team demonstrates its focus to “achieving Deloitte’s growth objectives and signifies the team’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the depth of expertise and delivering the highest quality of service to clients.”
