Eric Testa / Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest

Seasoned chef Eric Testa has been named Culinary Director at Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest.

While Mr Testa made the announcement a few months ago, the hotel shared the news this week, together with the appointments of Raluca Pop as Operations Manager for its Nami Beach Club & More and Eran Tendler as F&B Manager.

Mr Testa is an established name in the culinary field, have gained over 20 years of experience throughout his career, both in Malta and across Europe.

Prior to his latest role, he worked at two hotels in Hungary, including as Post Opening Task Force Chef de Cuisine at W Budapest and The Ritz-Carlton Budapest. His experience also includes notable stints at hotels in Georgia and Ukraine.

Locally, Mr Testa worked at notable restaurants and catering companies including the likes of U Bistrot, Neriku Catering, InterContinental Hotels Group, Fluid Rib & Steak House, The Avenue, as well as Corinthia Hotels.

In his new role at Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest, he will be overseeing the entire food and beverage experience offered by the hotel including its new summer outlet, Nami Beach Club & More, which will be opening its doors to the public in June 2024. Mr Testa is leading a team of over 100 professionals.

Over the course of his career, Mr Testa has had a number of achievements, including teaching molecular cuisine in culinary schools in Kiev (Ukraine), to creating private dinners for Formula 1 drivers, royalties, international artists, as well as football teams like Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest is located in the heart of the Romanian capital and features 462 rooms catered for both business and leisure travellers. It has a range of restaurants and bars, together with a spa and an indoor swimming pool.
