Faisal Islam is the President of RegTech at Binderr.

CEO Jacob Appel welcomed Mr Islam to the team.  “When the opportunity to work with Faisal came up, I immediately knew this was a defining moment for Binderr. In RegTech, operators who know how to build and scale businesses and bridge compliance, product and commercial reality at depth are rare. Faisal is one of them,” he wrote.

Mr Appel said he was humbled, grateful and excited to have him join the team.

“This marks an important step forward in what we are building.”

With a career in digital finance, compliance and technology leadership, Mr Islam brings “deep mastery” of the field to lead their RegTech strategy and accelerate innovation across compliance, KYB, AML and risk intelligence.

“I am delighted to announce that I will be joining Binderr as President of the Regtech and the Core products and services of the platform. Binderr is the largest marketplace of modern founders and financial service providers. Modern founders require globally accessible entities and banking within the day as quickly as they vibe code their business!,” Mr Islam said.

“Faisal’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue helping organisations onboard businesses faster, strengthen compliance frameworks, and redefine how teams manage risk in an increasingly complex regulatory world,” a press statement read.

Binderr is a Malta-based global marketplace and compliance platform that connects businesses with banks, electronic money institutions (EMIs), and corporate service providers.

It streamlines client onboarding, KYC/KYB, and AML processes, allowing companies to quickly open bank accounts and access professional services, such as legal or tax advice, through a single, secure platform.
