Francesca Baldacchino / EM Group

Francesca Baldacchino has been named Head of Legal at EM Group, the company announced on Monday.

This promotion comes after she has worked at the compliance services firm for five-and-a-half years, where she initially joined as Legal Account Manager, and then served as Senior Legal Account Manager. In those two roles, she was focused on online gaming clients and was primarily responsible for clients seeking to obtain a gaming licence.

In her new role, she will be responsible for all legal and corporate matters of the company’s client portfolio, and will also be tasked with managing the legal and corporate account managers of its Malta office.

“Amazing work Francesca, congratulations from all of us,” EM Group’s management said.

Prior to her time at EM Group, Dr Baldacchino worked as Legal Account Manager at corporate management firm Trustmoore, Advocate at Valletta Legal, and Legal Trainee at Camilleri Preziosi Advocates. She also worked in Notarial Practice for a year.

She holds a Doctor of Laws, Diploma of Notary Public, and Bachelor of Laws, all from University of Malta. Dr Baldacchino also graduated with a Master Personal Training Diploma from European Personal Training Institute.

She was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2016 and is a Member of the Malta Chamber of Advocates

First launched in Curaçao as one of the first corporate services providers in the country to recognise the needs of the online gambling market, EM Group has since expanded to Malta, the Netherlands, and Cyprus. It provides a range of “boutique-style” corporate services and iGaming solutions, with the aim to be “the best choice” for its clients.
