In April 2009, Mr Gardiner took on the role of Customer Service Representative at HSBC Malta. Seven years later, he was promoted to Site Support Manager – a role which he held for three years before being appointed Assistant Vice President, Risk and Control.

Mr Gardiner remained in the aforementioned position up until his latest promotion.

The newly appointed Head of Contact Centre took to social media to offer some insight into his first day occupying his new role.

“A challenging time, however I am delighted to be a part of it and immensely proud to be working with such a dedicated team,” Mr Gardiner wrote.

Before joining HSBC in 2006, Mr Gardiner served as a Retail Manager at USC and River Island.
