Claire Zammit Xuereb, Group Hospitality Director at AX Hotels Malta, took to social media on the occasion of International Women’s Day today to share three rules that have guided her throughout her successful career in Malta’s hospitality sector.
Ms Zammit Xuereb shared, “They say that girls with dreams become women with vision,” encouraging women to never stop learning and that education is key – “Learn as much as you can, from wherever you can.”
She advised to be resilient – “Be ambitious enough to make decisions that will make a difference. Be different. Be your creator”, and to not fear making mistakes – “If you never fail, you will never grow.”
In the wake of an exceedingly challenging year for Malta’s hospitality sector, Ms Zammit Xuereb has certainly drawn on such key tips to navigate the myriad challenges of the past year, and those ahead, with determination.
