Joe Attard, CEO of Green MT and a long-standing figure within Malta’s business and environmental sectors, has passed away.

The Malta Chamber of SMEs announced his death today, paying tribute to a man who had spent several years as CEO of its subsidiary Green MT, which was set up by to help importers, producers and businesses meet their legal waste management regulations. 

“It is with great sadness that we remember Joe Attard, CEO of Green MT Limited (Malta Chamber of SMEs subsidiary) and a long-standing figure in Malta’s business community,” the Chamber said.

Mr Attard had also previously served in senior roles within the Chamber back when it was known as GRTU, where the organisation said he brought considerable experience and commitment to Malta’s business and environmental sectors.
