Ian Dimech, a long-standing employee in the local iGaming sphere, has joined RubyPlay as Director of Engineering.

Headquartered in Valletta and founded in 2017, RubyPlay is an iGaming development studio that specialises in the design and creation of slot games and value-add tools for gaming operators.

Prior to joining RubyPlay, Mr Dimech served as Head of Platform at Play’n GO for over three years.

His experience in the iGaming industry goes even further back, having held a four-and-a-half year tenure at Betsson Group as Head of Frontend Engineering and Development Centre Manager.

From 2010 to 2014, Mr Dimech also served as Software Developer and Software Development Manager at Betclic Group.
