GO’s Cablenet Chief Executive Officer Ioannis Mavroudis Mavridis will take on the additional role of Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis following the departure of Mr Velisarios Masouras.
Cablenet Communications Systems plc, a subsidiary of GO plc, is a telecommunications company in Cyprus offering internet, cable TV, mobile and fixed-line telephone services. In 2020, it became the first foreign-registered company to issue and list bonds in Malta.
In an official announcement, the company said that Mr Masouras will relinquish his position as CFO with effect from 6th October 2026.
Mr Masouras has been with Cablenet for more than two years. Before joining the company, he served as Head of Finance at MSJ Group in Cyprus.
Cablenet has already started the search and selection process for a permanent replacement, with the company saying further information will be announced once available.
In the interim, Mr Mavroudis Mavridis will oversee the CFO function alongside his existing responsibilities as CEO.
The company thanked Mr Masouras for his service and wished him success for the future.
