Co-Founders Jonathan Dalli and Diana Spanu have just launched the fourth edition of the Malta Aviation & Conference Expo (MACE), taking place at the Hilton Malta on 5th and 6th October.

Jonathan Dalli

MACE is Malta’s largest aviation conference, hosting a variety of keynote speakers. The event involves the participation of Malta’s Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, Transport Malta’s Civil Aviation Directorate, and the Malta Business Aviation Association (MBAA).

MACE was launched on 1st August, in a press conference attended by Transport Minister Aaron Farrugia and Transport Malta CEO Jeffrey Curmi.

“Year upon year, we make sure to keep growing and expanding the horizons of Malta’s largest and most sought-after aviation conference,” Mr Dalli said.

“This year, through the team chosen, we are giving this conference and its industry a positive tone-of-voice as we want to position MACE as an aviation think-tank and not simply a conference. For three consecutive years, we have seen a growth in participants and more awareness raise about the conference,” he concluded.

The theme chosen for this year’s edition of MACE is ‘Gaining Altitude’, as the aviation industry shifts its focus to how it can continue taking itself to new heights and expand its horizons.

Diana Spanu

Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in live panel debates, meet industry suppliers, and discuss this year’s theme with regulatory officials, industry professionals, and subject matter experts.

“We want to make our conference as relevant to the industry as possible, therefore we aim to ensure that we look at different discussion verticals that will help the industry continue thriving in this ever-changing and ever-developing world,” Ms Spanu said.

“During MACE 2022, we will look at the future of aviation, its legal and financial frameworks, its talent acquisition, development, as well as Malta as a key aviation jurisdiction,” she concluded.
