Jonathan Falzon, previously a Research Analyst, has been promoted to Head of Research at Rizzo Farrugia & Co (Stockbrokers) Limited.

Rizzo Farrugia, a founding member of the Malta Stock Exchange, is a leading privately-owned stockbroking and investment management firm.

“I’m extremely proud to be promoted as Head of Research,” Mr Falzon shared on LinkedIn.

“We will continue following selectively several companies in Malta and overseas to form an investment opinion. I hope to continue contributing as markets present us with opportunities and challenges,” he added.

Mr Falzon holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) and a Master’s degree, both from the University of Malta. 

He also obtained the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst Certificate from the Corporate Finance Institute in 2023 and the Advanced Valuation Certificate from NYU Stern School of Business in 2024.

Before joining Rizzo Farrugia, Mr Falzon worked in the wine industry as a Viticulturist and Viticulture, Quality, and Projects Manager with Emmanuel Delicata Winemaker Limited, consulting local grape growers and coordinating vineyard services to enhance grape quality.
