Hudson Malta plc has announced the resignation of its Chief People Officer, Kalani Weerasinghe. The resignation is effective from Monday 31st March (today).

The group thanked Ms Weerasinghe for her contribution over her years of service.

Ms Weerasinghe joined Hudson Group in 2021 with a mandate to drive the organisational changes required to enable the continued local and global expansion of the group.

Hudson Group operates the Urban Jungle retail brand in Malta, Europe and North Africa, and represents many major brands like NIKE, Intersport, Ted Baker, Converse, Crocs, Kiabi, and Mango, among others.

Earlier this year, the UK Frasers Group acquired a significant shareholding in Hudson Group, with the deal allowing for additional staggered acquisitions leading to Frasers Group holding a controlling interest.
