The Board of Directors at Lombard Bank expressed tribute to late long-standing Non-Executive Director Michael Zammit, who sadly passed away on 3rd February.
Mr Zammit sat on the bank’s board alongside Non-Executive Directors Kimon Palamidis, Graham A. Fairclough, and Michael C. Bonello. Mr Bonello also serves as Chairman.
The late Director was also a Member of the bank’s Audit & Risk Committee alongside Mr Bonello, Mr Fairclough, and Mr Palamidis.
“The Board expresses its appreciation for Mr Zammit’s valued and positive contribution, commitment and dedication shown to the Bank throughout the term of his office, while conveying its sincere condolences to Mr Zammit’s family,” the company concluded.
In his professional career he has worked with PwC Malta, Hili Logistics Limited, and BMW Malta Finance Limited, among others.
He brings more than 30 years’ experience in the banking sector.
