Chris Portelli, a long-standing employee at EY Malta, has just been appointed Partner at the professional services firm.

Mr Portelli announced the news on social media.

The newly appointed Partner has been employed at EY Malta for 21 years, having joined the company in July 2001 as an Assurance Intern.

He remained in the company’s Assurance Department for around 14 years, throughout which period he enjoyed four different promotions: to Assurance Associate, Assurance Senior, Assurance Manager, and Assurance Senior Manager.

In July 2015, Mr Portelli was appointed Associate Partner at the firm – a position which he held for seven years before his latest promotion.

EY Malta is part of the international EY network, providing its clients with advisory, assurance, tax, and transaction services.

The professional services network employs over 280,000 people across its offices in 150 countries.
