PwC Malta has announced the appointment of Lucienne Pace Ross as Territory Senior Partner (TSP), effective 1st October 2025.
Ms Pace Ross joined PwC Malta in 1997, following her Accountancy degree from the University of Malta. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) as well as the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA), where she currently serves as Vice-President.
She became an Assurance Partner in 2006 and was appointed a Quality and Risk Management Partner in 2011.
Throughout her career, Ms Pace Ross has led assurance engagements across diverse client portfolios, including both local and international companies spanning multiple industries.
Her experience is complemented by secondments to PwC offices in New York and Brussels and participation in global projects at the network level.
Ms Pace Ross described the appointment as “a privilege,” while expressing her gratitude to David Valenzia for his leadership over the past eight years.
She explained that her goal is to build on the firm’s strong foundations as the market evolves rapidly, adding that clients face increasing pressure to transform, digitise responsibly and maintain trust.
“My priority will be to ensure PwC Malta stays ahead of these shifts, leveraging our people and network to deliver insight, innovation, and lasting value for our clients, while continuing to build a sustainable and resilient firm for the future,” she continued.
She will succeed David Valenzia, who has led the firm as TSP for the past eight years and will retire on 31st December 2025 after a 36-year career with PwC.
Reflecting on his successor, Mr Valenzia congratulated Ms Pace Ross on her election, complimenting her contribution to the overall quality and risk agenda, together with her ability to build trusted relationships.
“I believe that PwC Malta is in very capable hands as it moves forward to deliver outcomes that our clients can rely on,” he continued.
“I am grateful to our clients and our people for their support over the last eight years, and I am confident that Lucienne will maintain our fundamental principles, values and culture as she guides the firm to further success in the years ahead,” Mr Valenzia concluded.
