The Malta Business Registry (MBR) announced the appointment of Annalise Zammit as its new Chief Operations Officer.
Ms Zammit has been involved with the MBR since 2018 and for the past five years, she has served as the Head of its Finance and Administration Unit.
There she was responsible for several functions, namely related to revenue assurance, treasury, risk management, financial planning and control, management accounts and reporting, as well as procurement.
She is an ACCA-qualified accountant and a Certified Public Accountant with almost eight years of experience in the financial services sector, mainly in the field of banking supervision.
The MBR is the Government agency responsible for the registration and regulatory compliance of companies and commercial partnerships, and other legal persons such as foundations and associations.
Prior to joining the MBR, she had started her career in the industry with the Malta Financial Services Authority where she occupied various roles.
