Stockholm-based data and consent management service company iGrant.io has been chosen by BestStartup.eu as one of the ‘101 top security start-ups and companies in Sweden’ for this year.

Maltese tech veteran Godwin Caruana stands at the helm of said company as a Founding Partner.

“We are happy to be selected among the best Swedish start-ups and companies in Sweden. Kudos to all other start-ups and companies for getting in this elite list,” Dr Caruana wrote on social media.

BestStartup.eu, which aims to showcase ‘the top companies in Europe’, stated that the companies included in the aforementioned list “are taking a variety of approaches to innovating the security industry.”

Every single one of the companies mentioned by BestStartup.eu excels in one of the following categories: innovation, growth, management, and societal impact.

IGrant.io was founded in 2017 and seeks to provide clients with a secure, flexible, and trustworthy means of sharing personal data.

Dr Caruana has held his role at the company since June 2018. He also serves as a Director at Apco Limited and PTL Ltd, as Chief Technology Officer at 1923 Investments, and as CEO and CTO at Harvest Technology.
