Daniel Cluett, a Maltese Physiotherapist, has been appointed Head of Medical at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC, also known as Caley Thistle.

Founded in 1994 and based in Inverness, Scotland, Caley Thistle currently competes in the Scottish Championship – the country’s second-best football league.

Mr Cluett revealed his appointment on social media.

The Maltese Physiotherapist joins Caley Thistle after nine months as Head Physiotherapist at Barnet FC, a football team based in Edgware, London.

This was his second professional venture outside Maltese shores, having served as Academy Physiotherapist at Fulham Football Club between December 2019 and September 2020.

Mr Cluett holds a wealth of experience in physiotherapy, having previously served as a Football Physiotherapist at The Pro Clinic, Head of Sports Medicine at Gzira United FC, MSK Physiotherapist at Revive Physiotherapy and Aquatic Centre, and First Team Physiotherapist at Pembroke Athleta FC.

He graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Malta in 2017 and with a Master of Science in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Queen Mary University London in 2020.
