Marina Di Valletta hosts massive 106.7m Black Pearl superyacht 

Marina Di Valletta has welcomed the Black Pearl, a massive 106.7m superyacht 

The ship dwarfs the 91.8m Drizzle, which in 2024 had set the record for the longest yacht to dock at the Maltese marina.

Built in 2018 by the Dutch shipyard Oceanco and designed by a team of architects including Nuvolari Lenard and Dykstra Naval Architects, the ship was originally commissioned by the late Russian billionaire Oleg Burlakov. 

According to yachtcharterfleet.com, Black Pearl accommodates up to 12 guests in seven suites.

Its features include a dancefloor, a movie theatre, underwater lights, a beach club, a gym, and a deck jacuzzi, as well as several water toys. 

She comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaching a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 5,400 nautical miles at cruising speed. 

The boat is available for charter for between €850,000 to €950,000 a week, plus expenses. 

Niki Travers Tauss, Managing Director of Tauss Holdings, which operates the Marina Di Valletta, tells MaltaCEOs.mt that superyachts regularly stop at the marina stops.

“We get superyachts every month, and they stay here for anything from a day to a month,” he said.
