Computime Holdings plc has announced that long-serving Chairperson Tony Mahoney will be stepping down from his role as non-executive director and Chairperson of the Board, effective 20th November 2025. His successor, Mark Watkinson, will assume both roles on the same date.

Mr Mahoney’s departure marks the end of a decade-long tenure during which he provided strategic guidance and oversight to the technology solutions provider. The company expressed its appreciation for his “invaluable service and contribution” over the past 10 years.

Incoming Chairperson Mark Watkinson brings with him over three decades of international executive experience, primarily in the banking sector. A career banker with HSBC Group for 34 years, Mr Watkinson has held senior leadership positions across ten countries, including North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He is particularly well known locally for his term as CEO and Main Board Director of HSBC Bank Malta Ltd between 2011 and 2015.

After retiring from HSBC in 2019, Mr Watkinson continued his leadership journey as CEO and Main Board Director of Bank One Ltd in Mauritius from 2020 to 2024. He is also the current non-executive director and Chairman of Moneybase Limited in Malta.

Academically, Mr Watkinson holds a law degree and is a Barrister at Law in the UK. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, has an MBA from the University of Warwick, and is a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors in the United Kingdom.
