Susan Weenink Camilleri, Head of Marketing and Sales at Simonds Farsons Cisk, took to social media to mark her 40th anniversary at the company.
“Sounds overwhelming saying it like this, but I am thankful for the years of life lessons, tens of colleagues – some of who are now lifelong friends – many successes, but equally a number failure which only served to make me more resilient, various mentors and professionals who continue to inspire me,” Ms Weenink Camilleri wrote.
“Feeling grateful, happy, and accomplished,” she continued.
The Head of Marketing and Sales joined Farsons Group in 1982. Around nine years after joining, she moved to the Marketing department as Market Research Officer.
Over the years she took up additional responsibilities in said department, including ones related to brand management and the implementation of the marketing plans of a number of the group’s brands.
Ms Weenink Camilleri’s experiences in the Marketing Department led to several appointment within the group’s Marketing Business Unit, ultimately leading to her appointment as Head of Sales and Marketing in 2019.
Farsons Group is made up of six companies: Simonds Farsons Cisk, Farsons Beverage Imports, Farsonsdirect, Quintano Foods, Food Chain, and EcoPure.
Established in 1928, the Group is engaged in the brewing, production and sale, and distribution of branded beers and beverages, the important, wholesale, and retail of food and beverages, the operation of franchised food retailing establishments, and property development.
