Mediterranean Maritime Hub Malta Ltd announced the appointment of Nicolas Giordano, Salvu Ellul and Jonathan Cassar to its board of directors.
Mr Giordano is an experienced maritime professional and Captain, responsible for navigation, crew management, and the safe execution of voyages in challenging operating conditions.
He graduated in engineering from ISIM Engineering School, and holds a Certificate in Business Administration, and a Boat Master Licence, Mr Giordano, and MMH expects him to bring together technical expertise, operational leadership, and practical maritime experience.
Mr Ellul is a well-established entrepreneur with extensive experience across aquaculture, infrastructure, hospitality, entertainment, construction, and property development.
He has led and contributed to major landmark projects over the course of his career, including the Malta Freeport, Malta International Airport, and Portomaso.
Mr Cassar has a background in finance and practical experience within his family business, which operates in the logistics and crane services sectors.
MMH said he has developed a solid understanding of business operations, asset management, and service delivery in industries closely linked to transport, infrastructure, and maritime activity.
Mr Giordano, Mr Ellul and Mr Cassar will join Executive Chair Angelique Abela, Louisa Able and Paul Abela as directors of MMH Malta Ltd.
“The Company welcomes this development ahead of the finalisation of the share purchase transaction announced in previous announcements,” a statement read.
“This transaction remains on track, and is expected to be concluded in the coming months. The Company will, as always, publish further announcements in the coming weeks and months to keep its bondholders and the general public duly informed of all relevant developments.”
