MITA CEO Emanuel Darmanin will be one of the keynote speakers at the fourth edition of the cyber ROOT conference which will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta on 26th October 2022.
Cyber security will be one of the main themes that will be discussed during this year’s Cyber ROOT 2022 conference. During the conference, MITA will also be launching the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre of Malta, whilst announcing the opportunities and benefits that lie ahead for the local community.
Mr Darmanin, who comes with extensive experience in ICT strategies, EU funding and information security has been at MITA for over 16 years and was appointed CEO of the organisation five months ago. Prior to his role at MITA Mr Darmanin also held various senior management positions at MITTS, Gasan, Mekanika, ST Microelectronics and Panta, amongst other roles within the public and private sectors.
The CEO graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Malta in 1989 and gained an MBA from Henley Management College, UK in 2000 and an MA in Creativity and Innovation from the University of Malta in 2006.
